Maistra Select Family Hotel Amarin - Rovinj

Great place with a fantastic kids' club, comfortable rooms, and a great restaurant. The staff even helped me with my suitcases on my first stay. Highly recommend asking for a higher floor for better views!

The hotel facilities and equipment are top notch. The children were always busy even without animation.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the room was well-designed with a perfect view. The incredibly nice staff members at the reception desk provided a few recommendations. The location in the middle of the town was marvellous...

The kids were thrilled with the organized activities and the indoor play area kept them busy for hours. Dining felt chaotic during peak hours, making it hard to find a peaceful moment.

Everything :-). We were very satisfied and can only recommend the hotel and a visit to Rovinj.

All rooms of the complex are very small and have thin walls. You definitely need earplugs if you are a light sleeper. All rooms are not airconditioned, and have limited facilities. The entire maintenance of the side building (where we stayed) could definitely use an upgrade or two, perhaps three. Rooms have no airconditioning which makes it bloody hot in the summer. Friendly staff and good facilities. Excellent breakfast. Clean room with balcony.

Sheets not very clean, there was some sand on my bottom sheet but no dirty marks. The only ventilation was opening the sliding door onto the balcony, effective but seemed a bit insecure at night.

Would definitely recommend for a rapid stop.

Bright room, beautiful surroundings, great beachfront access with a poolside snack bar and spacious areas for kids to enjoy.

The reception staff were helpful and managed to find us rooms in the same corridor. The buffet breakfast was excellent. There is a regular boat service to and from the historic old town of Rovinj.

As it was our first visit, we had not realised that the hotel is surrounded by tents, camper vans and beach cabins. Nevertheless the grounds are pleasant and the noise was minimal. If you are not taking the halfboard option, there is a grill restaurant by the beach. The first evening we had excellent service and a tasty dinner. So, we returned the following night - when there were many more customers. The service and the food were not so good. There do not seem to be other options to eat out nearby, as it is a vast resort area.

Bed was very uncomfortable and extremely noisy everytime i turnt over in my attempt to sleep

It was just a suitable option for a brief pit stop in Rovinj with high value for money. The kids loved the varied kids club, especially Paola, who really engaged with them. Make sure to bring some water shoes for the rocky beach, it's worth it!

Staff are friendly and beach, city are close. The sea is clean and nice warm since it is in a bay.

Incredibly nice staff especially in the restaurant. Very helpful and always has a solution ready for special gluten-free wishes for my son.
